In the summer of 2024, Sharp Wilkinson was proud to welcome two interns who are seeking to grow as young professionals in the digital marketing world—specifically for our B2B clientele. Likewise, we also welcomed the opportunity to bring fresh faces and new perspectives into our organization and help us grow. So, without further ado, let’s take a moment to meet the summer interns: Garrett Kaser and Carson Wirtz.
Meet Garrett Kaser: Multimedia Specialist Intern
Garrett is a rising senior at Indiana University South Bend where he studies Integrated New Media.
As a part of the Sharp Wilkinson team, Garrett has used his background in broadcasting and professional voiceover work to support our video creation process. He’s also gained experience capturing photography while going out on shoots with the multimedia team.
“I’m excited to bring my existing skills to Sharp Wilkinson, while also learning new tricks to create truly standout pieces of media,” Garrett says.
Multimedia Specialist Nick Myers says, “Garrett has a natural talent for voiceover work, and the content he’s created so far has been truly outstanding. It’s clear that, given time, he’ll be crucial for the creation of quality videos and scripts. His approach allows him to move from A to Z without getting stuck. His ideas are definitely making an impact on our multimedia department.”
In his spare time, Garret enjoys playing retro video games and collecting vinyl records. He’s also an adventurer: enjoying camping and hiking.
Meet Carson Wirtz: Marketing Specialist Intern
Carson Wirtz is a junior at Wabash College where he studies English with a Creative Writing focus.
With experience working as a social media manager for his fraternity and as a managing editor for an online literary magazine, Carson’s skill set made him a natural fit for Sharp Wilkinson. This summer, he’s expanded his creative writing skills into business blogging and script writing.
Senior Marketing Specialist Christian Wirtz says, “Carson is both a brother and a friend to me. Just having him around the office and his energy and creative spirit is a true blessing. He brings a creative spirit and a fresh perspective, which is super complementary to our team.”
Away from work, Carson is also working with the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County, Indiana and volunteering with United Youth Theater. When he returns to school, he enjoys volunteering in the community with his fraternity brothers. He says he’s excited to bring the things he’s learned back to Wabash with him to help those around him.
Congratulations to Our Summer Interns!
We hope you’ve enjoyed meeting our interns! They are two great young men and we know they’ll achieve great things in their lives and careers.
At Sharp Wilkinson, we believe in nourishing the talent of our team, whether they be full-time or part-time and whether they be veterans of the industry or just putting down their roots in it.
